Phan Hải Bằng, professor at the Hué fine arts school in Vietnam, created a new type of bamboo paper. This paper incorporates motifs obtained through etching. He taught me this method over the course of three weeks: from the creation of bamboo pulp, to the preparation of plastic masks that will dictate the motif obtained during the etching process.
